Close to Two
Food not well prepared. Controls for TV and Aircon did not work and person assisting could not sort out. Eventually the incorrect controls were given. Stayed in several other Protea Hotels through out RSA this was worsed.

The people were fine
My room door had a deadbolt that did not work and chain lock removed, meaning anyone with an electronic pass could walk in anytime. I requested they fix this

The front office staff were extremely attentive and did a very good job. Housekeeping really friendly and good.
Building is quite old and breakfast is way over priced.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Witbank, and I must say, it was a great experience. the prices were very reasonable and provided great value for money. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. The hotel's location was also a major plus, as it was very well organized and close to the restaurant area. Additionally, the rooms were spacious and had all the basic amenities one could need, including a double bed and a bathroom with a jacuzzi. And last but certainly not least, the breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely delicious.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic, and there was nothing that I believe could be improved.

The front desk staff were very helpful and polite
There were a couple of intoxicated men leaving the bar/pool area while I was checking in- it kind of 'lowered' the standard- glad my wife was not with me as she would not have been comfortable around 'no sober' men

The roms were clean and we were well received by people on the front desk,
1. I was very dissapointed that they booked onother customer in my room 9. I booked in at around 16.30 hrs , put my things in a room and went out to town, at around 20hrs when We found a drunken couple in our room, claiming tht they also boked in the same room. We had to berelocated to another room. 2. There was no water in the hotel for some time, when it came back, it was brown in colour
